May 1st - 3rd, Indian Creek, Utah - Join world renowned climber Steve Schneider for three days of Desert Rock in the Utah Desert. Steve is a master crack climber who has done standard setting routes throughout the world. Making Yosemite, California and Torres del Paine, Chile his home crags, Steve is a crack climbing master, from thin fingertip climbs to the hardest off-widths. IFMGA Certified Guide Christian Santelices, veteran Yosemite big wall climber and international alpine climber will share his experiences climbing througout the world, as well as share his training techniques gleened from years working with Mountain Athlete in Jackson, Wyoming. Together they bring 50 plus years of climbing experience to work on honing crack climbing techniques, gear placement and selection, strategy, and psych. 

Climbers should be able to comfortably climb 5.9 traditional routes or 5.10 sport routes.

Cost - $775 includes meals. Minimum of four participants.

Itinerary

Friday April 30th - Arrive in Indian Creek in the evening for dinner and a meeting with the guides. An evening around the campfire with a chance to get to know your fellow participants.

Saturday May 1st - 7:30 a.m. breakfast and coffee.

8:15 a.m. - Carpool to the crag for a day of climbing. Topics for the day will include crack climbing movement techniques and anchoring.

4:00 p.m. - End of the climbing day

6:00 p.m. - Meet back at camp for dinner and story telling.

Sunday May 2nd - 7:30 a.m. breakfast and coffee.

8:15 a.m. - Carpool to the crag for a day of climbing. Topics for the day will include route planning, gear selection and leading practice.

4:00 p.m. - End of the climbing day

6:00 p.m. - Dinner at camp.

Monday May 3rd - 7:30 a.m. breakfast and coffee.

8:15 a.m. - Carpool to the crag for a day of climbing. Topics for the day will include leading practice, self-rescue and training techniques.

4:00 p.m. - End of the climbing day

6:00 p.m. - Dinner at camp for those spending the night.

Tuesday May 4th - Optional guided multi-pitch climbs
