Sue has been an international whitewater, trekking and ski mountaineering guide for over twenty years. In 2001 she was a member of the United States National Whitewater Raft team, winning 2nd place at the Camel Whitewater Challenge on the Zambezi River in Zambia & Zimbabwe, and 3rd place at the World Championships on the Gaulie River in West Virginia. But those are just some of her physical pursuits...

Sue today is best know for her activism in support of healthy food, local farms and sharing meals with family & friends. She is the founder and co-leader of Slow Food in the Tetons, an organization promoting these values world wide and working to save heritage agriculture and the communities sustained by it. She is also the editor of Teton Family Magazine.
