Women’s Desert Rock Clinic

May 8th & 9th, Indian Creek, Utah - We have a treat for all of those intrepid women climbers looking to be inspired. Phenomenal climbers and guides Angela Hawse, Mattie Sheafor, Sarah Garlick and Majka Burhardt will be teaching our first annual Women's Desert Rock Clinic in the incomparable Indian Creek Canyon. Join these awesome ladies for two days of crack climbing technique, anchoring, route planning, gear selection and leading practice. Aerial Boundaries is providing all the meals, with dinner around the campfire each night. Our guides are not only great teachers, but wonderful story tellers as well. Prepare to be inspired by their tales of endeavors throughout the world.

Climbers should be able to comfortably climb 5.9 traditional routes or 5.10 sport routes.

Cost - $520 per person for two days of climbing, includes meals. Minimum of four climbers for the course to run.

Itinerary


Friday May 7th - Arrive in Indian Creek in the evening for dinner and a meeting with the guides. An evening around the campfire with a chance to get to know your fellow participants.


Saturday May 8th - 7:30 a.m. breakfast and coffee.

8:15 a.m. - Carpool to the crag for a day of climbing. Topics for the day will include crack climbing movement techniques and anchoring.

4:00 p.m. - End of the climbing day

6:00 p.m. - Meet back at camp for dinner and story telling.


Sunday May 9th - 7:30 a.m. breakfast and coffee.

8:15 a.m. - Carpool to the crag for a day of climbing. Topics for the day will include route planning, gear selection and leading practice.

4:00 p.m. - End of the climbing day

6:00 p.m. - Dinner at camp for those spending the night.


Monday May 10th - Option for guided multi-pitch climbs in the area!
